Real Folk Cultural International Academy (RFCIA) is established in 2009 at Ludhiana with the aim to promote the Real Folk Culture of Punjab. Punjabi’s are worldwide known to honour & respect their culture. The culture of the any state is important for the internal & external growth of the Youth. The Punjab has big Heritage Culture.
RFCIA helps young generation to save their culture by enrolling them in folk dances of Punjab like Bhangra, Gidhha, Sammi, Jhoomar, Malwai Gidhha, Jindua etc. RFCIA providing teaching to the students of colleges, universities & Individuals, who are willing to learn Punjabi Folk Dances & it makes us feel very proud that many of our students are well settled and have good name & fame in Punjabi Folk Dances event within India as well as in abroad. RFCIA is guided & supervised by many international & reputed Folk Dance experts & social figures.
All the members of Academy are dedicated to spread heritage of real folk dances. Most of the members of RFCIA are World Acclaimed folk Dancers. Many of them had written their name in Golden Letters in their respected institutes, Colleges & Universities. The members of RFCIA academically highly qualified & well settled in their respectable fields. So the basic desire of the members to lift the folk dances upto the higher realm and are dedicated from their heart to enrich the Punjabi Culture & spread the aim of brotherhood in the World.
RFCIA have won several laurels in past years. In the year 2017, RFCIA have participated in “Llagollen 2017” organized by Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod from 4th to 9th July, 2017 at Wales, United Kingdom & RFCIA won 1st Prize in “Dancing in the Street” & 3rd prize in “Choreography Folk Dance Jhoomar”, than in November 2017, RFCIA participated in “Bhangra Dance Off – 2017” organised by Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia and won 1st Runner Up trophy. In the year 2018, again RFCIA participated in “Llagollen 2018” organized by Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod from 3rd to 8th July, 2018 at Wales, United Kingdom & won 1st Prize in “Dancing in the Street” & 2nd Prize in “Choreography Folk Dance Jhoomar” & “Traditional Folk Dance Bhangra”, than in October 2018, RFCIA participated in “Bhangra Dance Off – 2018” organised by Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia.
